Fetus at Week 15The baby's skin is thin and transparent, so you can see blood vessels through its skin easily. The baby will start sucking on its thumb and the bones are becoming harder and stronger each passing day. A very fine hair called lanugo starts to grow on the baby's body.
Maternal Changes on Week 15
Now your uterus will grow to above your hip bones at this week. You can measure this and it is called fundal height which can be used to determine if your baby is growing at the correct pace. Talk to your health care provider about this and at the same time you can have them make an educated guess on the gender of the baby through an ultrasound.
