Fetus at Week 10The baby now weighs roughly five grams and is the size of a plum (1.25 to 1.68 inches). The groundwork for the baby's body has been fully laid down. Looking on an ultrasound you can see the baby moving around a lot, though it is too small for the mother to really notice.
Maternal Changes on Week 10
Your morning sickness and nausea will start to ease up slightly though you will continue to be moody. Your blood volume will increase by about 40 percent and as a result you may notice your veins more, especially around your stomach, breasts, and thighs.
